A day in Canyonlands, Utah

We had a great day exploring Canyonlands and getting in a couple of hikes as well as stopping at overlooks.

We drove straight to the Grand View Point Trail to begin hiking. There are just incredible views all along this short hike that has lots of elevation change and steps.

At the end of the trail Jordan stood on a rock to take a 360'view and I found a little shade to capture some images.

Then we headed to hike Upheaval Dome which is an impact structure, the deeply eroded bottom-most remnants of an impact crater. The crater is clearly visible on the surface as bright brown and black concentric rings and there are just super cool colors throughout.

On our way back out of the park we had fun stopping at various viewpoints to catch the incredible vistas from every direction!

We can't wait for our next visit and the other areas of the park we can explore!
