Our plan had been to spend a month exploring this area, but we ended up needing to leave after a week because the epic forest fire smoke became unbearable and my allergy induced asthma really kicked in bad. It was heartbreaking to read the updates of the fires burning all throughout the West.
Our first few days were really clear and beautiful and we managed to spend them biking, exploring and getting in as much as possible as we watched the forecast and realized that was about to drastically change. We're looking forward to coming back!

Do you like mountain biking? Bend is filled with an incredible system of trails. We were only able to experience a couple but this is a great resource if you want to see what's there.
