Around the Dom Luís I Bridge in Porto, Portugal

There are so many great places to get views here in Porto but I'll share a few we've enjoyed around this amazing bridge which "is a double-deck metal arch bridge that spans the River Douro between the cities of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. At its construction (in 1886), its 172 metres (564 ft) span was the longest of its type in the world."

Originally and for more than a century, the bridge carried road traffic on both decks." In 2003 they closed the upper deck and adapted it for metro use which has been operating since 2005. It's kinda crazy because both pedestrians and the metro run together so it seems a little precarious but seems to work out just fine. They are currently doing construction on the bottom level so you can't drive on it, but you can still walk across it.

On the other side of this bridge, in Vila Nova de Gaia, there are lots of places to sit and eat/grab a drink and soak up the views looking back at colorful Porto. You can also enjoy the beautiful Rabela boats (some loaded with wine barrels) that are often parked here.

To access the areas on either side of the bridge you can walk across, take the metro or pay 3euros to ride a water taxi that runs every few minutes.

And of course there's a ton of options for dining/drinking on both sides.
