Some Bozeman, Montana Favorites

After leaving the Helena area we had a quick two days in Bozeman where we stayed with our friend Veronica & her boys. Her hubby, Ryan, was unfortunately out of town so we didn't get to see him this time.

When we first arrived we grabbed lunch at one of our favorite places - Dave's Sushi. Then I wandered downtown a bit (ran into our old mailman who recognized me and we caught up for a few min) and got some errands done while Jordan hung out at Wild Joe*s. By that time the sun had come out and we headed up to hike the "M" which brought back lots of good memories.

Then we decided to walk in the nature preserve area of Story Mill Park to see what we might find at the bird blind that the Sacajawea Audubon maintains. Golden hour was just starting and there were lots of Red-winged Blackbirds, Black-capped Chickadees, Eurasian Collared-Doves and Finches.

After work/school we had fun hanging out with Veronica, Beck, Cole and Milo (their super cool dog).

The next day we made a pretty drive up to Olsen Creek on the Bangtail Divide Trail (which is up Bridger Canyon). This was another favorite area to play and it was just the perfect spectacular Fall day.

This week sure reminded us of how much we love Montana and how fun it is to see old friends. We are looking forward to our next trip back!
