Looking for a place with less smoke was challenging, but we settled on this area. In the canyons there were some gorgeous Fall colors.
While I took it easier to help my lungs recover from the smoke Jordan explored some epic mountain bike trials like this one.
It was surprising how much wildlife we saw from our balcony in the middle of a neighborhood!
I loved getting to spend some time catching up with my parents as I took them on a scenic drive through Ogden Canyon. Another afternoon we had a picnic outside their townhome with my my sister, Stacy.
Things we enjoyed:
Big Cottonwood Canyon - Gorgeous to drive and has numerous hiking trails.
Alpine Scenic Byway - Stunning drive with Fall colors that were just exploding with color.
Crystal Lake - Took a nice day trip driving here/back and relaxing by the water.
Lake Catharine, Mary & Martha - Beautiful series of 3 small lakes on this hike.
Wasatch Crest Trail - Jordan did this epic mountain bike trek combining this trail and this one.
