Eisenhower State Park

As we made our way up north we spent three nights at this state park named after the 34th US President Dwight D. Eisenhower who was born in nearby Denison. It borders Lake Texoma which is formed by Denison Dam on the Red River in Bryan County, Oklahoma, and Grayson County, Texas

We enjoyed doing some hiking, discovering large ammonite fossils in the limestone and took our kayak out one evening.

One day I sat by the shore watching the American Coots which was fun.

Did some great mountain biking at nearby pretty Waterloo Lake.
