We took our first trip in the RV this month to Pedernales Falls State Park for 3 nights and loved it. Was so much fun to have this beautiful home on wheels parked right in the middle of nature. We spent time hiking, biking and enjoying the river/falls and the warm temperatures. It was also great to live in it a few days as that helped us prioritize the first two things we wanted to work on: better cell signal, a recirculation system for the shower (so we don't waste a much water waiting for it to get hot).

What's a Bird Blind? It is a shelter, often camouflaged, that is used to observe wildlife, especially birds, at close quarters.
It was my first time to ever be in one of these and I LOVED it. Was able to watch and capture images of so many different birds. I went a couple of different times during our visit so it was fun to see things in varied lighting. I watched the rangers put some suet and birdseed out one afternoon. I think it's amazing they maintain such a fantastic place for anyone to come sit and enjoy.
