Parque Eduardo VII de Inglaterra, Lisbon

We had fun watching the wildlife at the largest park in the center of Lisbon which has views, amazing cobblestone patterns, a pond, lots of benches and scooters that we could rent to get ourselves around.

At the pond there were some really adorable ducklings, a couple of petite Egyptian Geese and a European Moorhen (the last species of Moorhen I saw was in Texas and called a Common Gallinule) that was very busy building it's amazing nest which was floating in the water.

After leaving the pond we came across this Peahen and her babies. It was the first time I had ever seen young peachicks. I thought they resembled little dragons!

Of course the handsome Peacock had to come over to see what I was doing and he got quite close for some really beautiful images.

Ahh more babies!! I don't think I've ever seen peachicks either. So wild to be able to see that peacock shape in their backs and necks, but at such a tiny scale. 😳 And there's that scooter photo I was hoping for!! 😁
